Hair Growth Challenge
There’s something so refreshing about the start of a new year. Almost like you get the opportunity to start over with a fresh clean slate. Nothing from the previous year matters. Just the now, and the future. Im not sure about you but I am trying to SLAY 2018 baby. My hair growth has been stagnant and I was on youtube academy trying to find some ways to jump-start my hair growth again. I ran across this video:
And I will be joining this challenge! She will be using a variety of different products, and oils for this three-month challenge. If you are a naturalista like I am you probably already have a lot of these items handy.
Products I will be using:
Scalp massager: Vitagoods Scalp Massaging Shampoo Brush, Black
Wild Growth Hair Oil:
Aztec Clay Mask:
Shea Moisture Black Castor Oil Line:
Aphogee Protein Treatment:
I’ll be creating a DIY hair growth oil using the following:
REGIMEN DAILY: 1/2 gallon of water, biotin, eating healthy 80% of the time, water hair, silk scarf at night
WEEKLY: Shampoo/Condition (pre-poo before), Deep Condition, Peppermint Oil + massage brush 3x a week, Wild Grow Oil 1-3 times a week, hairstyle that can be maintained throughout the week
MONTHLY: 1st week – Clarifying Shampoo 2nd week – Hot Oil Treatment 3rd week – Clay Mask (or twice a month) OTHER: 6-8 weeks – Protein Treatment Trim one good time or as needed Avoid heat
I couldnt find my measuring tape so I am using my tattoos as a way to monitor my hair growth. I have watched numerous naturalistas videos on Youtube and they all have been raving about liquid biotin so Im super excited to try that and the Aztec clay mask. Be sure to give yourself a trim if necessary.
My hair is a little past bra strap length. I am hoping to reach my goal of HEALTHY waist length by the end of this year.
