Hotel Atlantico Rio Review
Hotel Atlantico Rio, an honest review:
The location was in close proximity to lots of restaurants and within walking distance to Copacabana beach. Attractions like Christ the Redeemer and Sugarloaf Mountain were just an Uber ride away.
We arrived a little after two PM and had no problems checking into our room. A lot of the reviews stated that the check-in lines were long but we didn’t seem to have that issue.
We felt very safe staying here. No complaints whatsoever coming in very late and sometimes leaving out very early.
This is a 3-star hotel so you get what you pay for. The mattresses weren’t mega uncomfortable but they were a bit on the firm side.
The room was cleaned every day and they brought fresh towels. However, the bathroom could have used a little more TLC. There was mold visible from a few spots in the shower so it wasn’t terrible but definitely noticeable.
I thought that Hotel Atlantico Rio had a decent spread for breakfast each morning. Fruits, eggs, and fresh orange juice galore. It was a great way to start the day each morning.
Unfortunately, we only had one or two hot sunny days. It was raining for the majority of our trip. We never made it up to the pool.
I would say Hotel Atlantico Rio, Rio De Janeiro Brazil earns a 7 on a scale from 1 to 10. If you’re looking for a safe, no-frills hotel with a great breakfast then the Atlantico Rio is for you.
